内容紹介：

北海道東部の知床半島の植別川・幾品川と能取半島の能取海岸に露出する上部新第三系について、珪藻化石層序学的な検討を行った。知床半島の越川層の最上部、幾品層及び陸志別層の中下部はNPD7Bb亜帯に対比される。能取半島の呼人層下部はNPD7Ba亜帯〜NPD7Bb亜帯に相当する。
