モンゴル国、エルデネット鉱山のCu-Mo富鉱帯
本鉱山はポーフィリー型銅一モリブデン鉱床で、斑岩を銅やモリブデンが鉱染した低品位鉱を主とする。風化にさらされた地表付近の鉱化帯から溶けだした銅が地表下20-300mほどの深さで酸化銅として沈殿し、青緑色の高品位部をつくっている。
