魚類 Fishes

 魚類はカンブリア紀に現れて以来，水中（海水・淡水）でのみ生活しています．板皮類はシルル紀に現れてデボン紀に絶滅，軟骨魚類はシルル紀の後半に現れて古生代後半に繁栄し，硬骨魚類はデボン紀最初期に現れました．デボン紀の後期に，硬骨魚類の一部から両生類が分岐したと考えられています．
 Fishes have lived exclusively in water (seawater and freshwater) since their appearance in the Cambrian. Placoderms appeared in the Silurian and became extinct in the Devonian, cartilaginous fishes appeared in the late Silurian and flourished in the late Paleozoic, and bony fishes appeared at the beginning of the Devonian. Amphibians are thought to have diverged from some of the bony fishes during the late Devonian.
