内容紹介：

　霧島山・新燃岳における2008年から2018年の噴火による火山灰（21試料）の典型的な実体顕微鏡画像を収録し、噴火情報とともにまとめた。火山灰試料を水洗・篩分けし、スライドガラス上に樹脂で固定した標本をデジタル顕微鏡で撮影した。

Contents:

Representative optical microscope images of ash particles from Shinmoedake volcano, Kirishima volcanic group, Japan, during volcanic activities from 2008 to 2018 are listed with information of volcanic activities. 21 ash samples were collected during this period. Optical microscope images of ash particles mounted in resin were taken by digital microscope after washing and sieving the ash samples.
